Hanseatic Hunter

We are a private family office dedicated to investing in equities. We were founded by a 30-year veteran of the global capital markets.​

The "HanseaticHunter" is a sea eagle we can observe from our lakeside office in Northern Germany. This hunting metaphor fits our investment style: Soaring heights, but with a keen eye for detail; showing patience and diligence, but with a hunger for results; and grasping opportunities with speed, determination and vigour.

Project 1 to 5 have all been started and Project 6 is in the exploratory stage. Project 1 was completed in 2019. Project 2 and 4 are active since 2020 and still the core of our activity. Project 3 is in progress and can be followed via our blog. One day, we will share our experiences on Project 1 – Exit, as it gives unique insights into the psychology of large investing organisations.

After a concept planning stage in 2021, Project 5 was launched at the beginning of 2022 and given into new hands in 2025.

Our newest Project 6 is in the exploratory stage under the working title "Liberty".
